The two old fishermen`s houses changed into a restaurant, are located on the waterfront near the old fish market of Alvor and between the river and the beach. The sea is so close that sometimes the water reaches it. With such a location, it seems that the fish jumps directly to the grid. In the pots, the stewed beans with cuttlefish or the monkfish rice get prepared. Shrimps on Sundays and also a Shrimps curry are worth mentioning. Do not miss the desserts, with the traditional sweets of Algarve, of course.
