In the heart of Chaves historic centre, this is a house to remind old cellars with excellent regional cuisine. An old building that formerly housed blacksmithing, carpentry and tavern. Today it is a unique restaurant. A large dining room, decorated in shades of red and white (the checkered tablecloths on the long wooden tables) and a corridor of barrels. On the floor, the pavement is Portuguese cobblestone. But the most delightful detail is the counter: 15 meters long, 60 years old, it is the ex-libris of the whole area, which was rebuilt around it.
