Located at the gates of Melgaço, close to the Peso spa, this restaurant was, in old days, the grandparents' home of the current owner, which now houses a wonderful restaurant where you can taste flavors from old recipes. It is an old cottage (restored) with its ceiling with wood beams and its stone walls. The decor matches the aura of the place, with leafy plants to color the interiors, dishes on the tables and walls (as in grandparents' homes) and heavy and dark wood furniture, with glass doors. The name Adega do Sossego (The Quiet Cellar) comes from the owner's habit to host his friends while preparing snacks in a calm and pleasant ambiance. A Restaurant since 1991, it seeks to promote the flavours of authentic Portuguese cuisine.
