This building was built in 1903 by José Aprígio Gomes, a Lisbon businessman who settled in Amadora, placing here a telescope. Amadora Live Science Centre is housed in this house since 2003. Its main goal is to promote science and new technologies to the public in general. Here you can visit an urbanism and architecture exhibit and an electricity exhibit.
