Dolphin and whale-watching is one of the greatest highlights of Pico island. Aqua Açores is one of the local enterprises that organises those boat tours. On board of “Abismo”, an 11m long boat, the crew has the chance of seeing cetaceans close, which are quite common in these waters. The boat is driven by former whale hunters.
