Located in Aveiro, it aims at promoting scientific and technological culture by encouraging experimentation. The University of Aveiro has a central role in the creation and management of this center, enlivening the interaction with schools of different education levels, as well as attracting new audiences to science and technology. This factory is dedicated to science and displays thematic exhibitions. It has a teaching lab and a kitchen laboratory where literally visitors put their "hands on" observing and testing the processes underlying chemical and biochemical transformations that occur when preparing food. It also includes an area devoted to robotics, cinema and theater.
