Bairrada Wine Route

The Bairrada is one of the most famous wine regions of the country. It is a very interesting region of contrasts, which are reflected in its wines that please many different tastes and combine with the renowned local cuisine, which roasted piglet is worth mentioning. The route is organized into three tracks, each with very distinct attractions. Through the course "Trails of Mount" get to know an area of magnificent scenery, lush greenery, spas and hotels of yesteryear. It is the area of Buçaco and Luso. "Paths of Clay", the second course, refers to the characteristics of soils from which, incidentally, they have been named after. It is an area marked by the balance between water and land, with many lagoons and ponds. Here we find the famous spa resort of Curia that stands as a symbol of charm and elegance of bygone days. But this region also covers a seaside area, that can be known through the route "Sand Roads", and visiting coastal towns as Mira, and Tocha.
