This church is a landmark of Barcelos historical centre, presenting a round plant and huge dimensions. It is located near Campo da Feira. This is an imposing octagonal-planned Baroque building of Italian inspiration. The bell tower is placed over a prominent façade. On top of it, there is a balustrade with pinnacles. Inside, the nave has Latin cross shape, covered by an impressive spherical dome with a cylindrical dome on top. Some of the attractions of this church are 18th century altars in gilt carved wood and eight canvas panels.
