Buçaco Military Museum, located in Mealhada, was officially opened on September 27th 1910, during the commemoration of the first century of Buçaco Battle. It assembles valuable collections of weapons, uniforms, equipments used in the battles and paintings depicting this episode of the Peninsular War. It is worth mentioning that this event is celebrated every year with a military parade. The participants wear the uniforms, used in that time.
