Situated in the former Sátão prison, this museum named after a local painter assembles the heritage that she donated to Sátão Town Hall. Camila Loureiro was a scholarship student of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Her work has a characteristic poetic ambiance that evokes and highlights unknown worlds. This artist was awarded a bronze medal in the 2nd Xylography Triennial in Carpi and a silver medal in the Brussels Inventors Exhibit, because of her new techinique of artistic engraving. The museum organises leisure and pedagogical activities for council’s schools. Visits only by appointment.
