Capuchos Convent was founded in 1558 by D. Lourenço Pires de Távora, rising upon the top of the cliff of Monte da Caparica, in Almada. The corners of the front of the building end in flame-shaped ornaments and an interior three-arch lean-to space. The choir window has a niche on top of it, sheltering a clay sculpture. There is only a nave inside, ornamented with 16th century polychromatic tiles (blue, yellow and green).
