Located in a house dating from the fifteenth century, which plan has suffered little change since, in order to perpetuate its history. The view over the sea gives it a soothing and relaxing ambience that invites you to enter. The decor was also designed so as to combine the beauty of old times with the comfort of modernity.
Several dishes can be tasted, including codfish confit with mashed chickpeas and spinach, or pork tenderloin stuffed with clams. For lovers of vegetarian food it suggests the vegetable lasagna and tagliatelle with dried tomatoes and basil. Dessert lovers can "take revenge" on fruit skewers with burnt custard or with the cheese and pumpkin and almond jam. Atmosphere and decor: Casa da Dízima has kept the original characteristics of the 15th century architecture, making it an excellent example of harmony between the past and the future.
There is a game of contrasts between the rough textures of the stone and the smooth surface of the plaster and masonry, the arches in raw brick and metal rusted with acid, the floor of limestone from Lourinhã and teak furniture. All this added to a fine set of "spiegelau" glasses makes one wonder about its varied and exquisite wine cellar.
The large tables and sobriety of the "mise-en-place", over swedish polychromatic individual individual place settings give an unusual sense of space, comfort and relaxation.
