This monument dates back to the Late Neolithic (from 2900 to 2630 B.C.), consisting of nine upright stones (six of them had paintings, which are no longer visible) and a capstone. As you cross an approximately 5m long corridor, you will reach the interior of a polygonal-shaped chamber with a 2,5m diameter. In 1896, its heritage was sent to the National Archaeology Museum in Lisbon.
