This church of the Order of Santiago dates back to 1480 and it belongs to late Gothic style, despite presenting some Manueline style décor features. Here you can contemplate 17th century tiles with the symbol of the Order of Santiago in a rug, as well as a representation of a 14th century altarpiece of the Church of Santiago do Cacém, depicting Santiago fighting back the Moors. It also houses the tomb of the bastard son of King D. João II, D. Jorge, who was actually the last Grand Master of the Order of Santiago. (National Monument)
