"(...) Luis Suspiro (...), the Fernando Pessoa of Portuguese cuisine (...)". This was the expression used by Miguel Esteves Cardoso to refer the author of a unique project in Portugal, reported as one of the best in the country by the most respected restaurants guides and food critics, and recognized by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy. Much more than a restaurant, the Condestável of Luís Suspiro is an ode to good taste, to good kitchen, and a tribute to the pleasures of the table as a true cultural endeavour. We have here an innovative concept, based on the contemporary Portuguese cuisine, enjoyed in a space combining art, luxury and elegance, where everything was planned in detail to provide a memorable experience. There are six dining rooms, with a creative decor, with stone walls and pavement, fireplaces and wood stoves, creating a very welcoming environment. Room and kitchen staff accurately dressed, tables exquisitely prepare, with beautiful and elegant crystal glasses, linen tablecloths and napkins, tableware designed by the owner, the whole offering a perfect picture to dazzle us. From the Portuguese cuisine and using only the finest ingredients, Luis Suspiro lives in a permanent creative act, innovating and surprising with a menu that changes four times a year, following the seasons and at the whim of the owner. here guests are offered the tasting menu, consisting of six starters, two fish courses, two meat curses, two desserts, fresh and dried fruits, duly accompanied by fine Portuguese and foreign wines. Finally, a selection of some of the best coffees in the world, grounded in the moment, a fine range of teas from the East, and also diversified brandies and liqueurs, also self-manufactured.
