On top of Parque Eduardo VII, and framed by Amalia Rodrigues Garden, it opened its doors on November 11, 2004. It is a modern building, with glass walls that allow to enjoy the magnificent view: the park, the castle, the river and the urban landscape.
The kitchen is under the responsibility of the chef Joachim Koerper, "German by birth and Mediterranean by adoption", who bases his offers on dishes using the best available national product at each season, which means that the menu varies seasonally. It`s the so called market and seasonal cuisine.
