The small size of the restaurant is not enough to welcome the many admirers of this landmark of Alentejo cuisine, located about 10 km from Portalegre. Therefore reservation in advance becomes indispensable. The restaurant`s name is due to the owner himself, Mr. Alvaro Feio, who, together with his wife, established and runs this "cathedral" of good cooking, which excels in its snacks and typical local dishes, and, of course, the conventual sweets and wines of Alentejo.
