The construction of Estói Paalce began in 1840, and it ended half a century later. It is the only preserved exemplar of Romantic architecture of the Algarve region. The gardens are divided in three levels and connected by stairs. There is a great number of palm trees and orange trees, along with bed flowers with several species and some statues. The whole set is currently being converted in a Pousada.

MORE INFORMATION

Observations: Throughout the garden there are various busts as well as some admirable azulejos from the 18th century both on the fountains and on the outside walls which surround the palace. In the centre of the garden, there is a magnificent sculpture, whose mythical figure is surrounded by mermaids from where the water sprouts from. Still in the interior, there is a small replica of the ruins of the Milreu archaeological station, located in the same county.
