This is one of the greatest waterfalls in Portugal. A quartzite barrier forms a big gap, separating the granitic zone from the schist zone, more vulnerable to erosion. For thousands of years, water force has created an almost 200m high outstanding cascade. The waters of Olo river fall down the cascade. At the top of the waterfalls you will find beautiful lagoons that attract many persons in Summer.
