Located in the surroundings of mountain village Benfeita, this waterfall, which is the result of a geological accident, stands out as one of the most interesting natural resources of the Protected Landscape of Açor Mountain. This cascade flows in a very narrow valley, which creates an unexpected landscape of schist stones covered by vegetation. The waters of Barroca das Degrainhas flow into this 20m high waterfall, forming a first lagoon and then a second one, which is smaller.
