The Easter celebrations earn a special place on the background of the ancient streets of the town-museum of Obidos. The tradition dates back to the 60s when it began making the historical re-creation with the Play of the Descent from the Cross. Also noteworthy was the Procession of the Stations and the Night Procession of the Change of Images, made at torchlight.
