Honey made predominantly with the pollen of Echium spp. (Less than 40%), with a tendency to crystallize, due to the ratio fructose / glucose. The Alentejo region is the second largest in the country in number of hives. The honey of Alentejo obtained the first prizes in international competitions, in Spain and Italy.
