Set in Vila Viçosa Castle, this museum houses an interesting collection of hunting-related pieces both European and Asian, as well as weapons used in Guinea, Angola and Mozambique wars. Worth highlighting in this collection are the skull of a pigmean elephant and a set of 200 weapons of the former Portuguese colonies, along with several examples of famous hunting carbines. Part of this heritage belonged to King. D. Carlos.
