Housed in a nineteenth-century building at the gates of Lisbon, this restaurant pays homage to the Alentejo, through its decoration, menu and ambience. The wine has a prominent place since its owner, Mr. Antonio Simoes, has been committed to organizing winery dinners, tastings, courses and other initiatives related to the proper combination of wine with good food. On the 1st floor is a small grocery store with a cellar. The menu is a feast of Alentejo flavors and products: eggs with wild asparagus, tomato soup, dogfish soup, lamb stew, chicken Ganhão style, chickpeas and crumbs with pork fried in lard. As dessert, the Alentejo conventual confectionery.
