The river beach Palheiro do Zorro is located in the margins of Mondego river between Penacova and Coimbra. This significantly long river beach has good support infrastructures, sport field, barbecue, picninc park, toilets and garbage containers. It has a lifeguard and a good parking (a small pedestrian bridge enables parking in both Mondego riverbanks). There are also several water analysis bulletins on a board placed in this area.
