This temple was erected over the former location of Espírito Santo (Holy Spirit) chapel. The image of the Holy Spirit is still worshiped nowadays, as well as the image of Child Jesus. Worth highlighting, is a famous 18th century panel conceived by the great Portuguese painter Pedro Alexandrino depicting Christ’s Last Supper. It is a wide building with no architectural ornaments, supposedly built in the beginning of the 17th century.
