It is one of Porto’s landmarks, situated at the top of Aliados Avenue, at the heart of downtown. Along with Clérigos Tower, this is one of the most famous monuments among tourists. Porto City Hall is an imposing building that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Also note worthy is the solid 70m high tower with a carillon clock.
