This peaceful beach of crystal-clear waters is one of the few beaches in the island, where you can still enjoy the sand area. It has no lifeguard though. The memory of the boat built in the 16th century by Garcia Gonçalves Madruga in order to pay off his debts to King D. João III is evoked here.
