This is an ethnographical museum on Salsedas cultural anthropology and the whole area of Portuguese northeast region. It has a permanent exhibit divided in two theme sections: “Man’s Universe” and “The Universe of Rural Society”. The first exhibit portrays regional traditional tastes, as well bread, wine, olive oil and line cycles, while recreating a typical house of Trás-os-Montes region. The location includes an area where handicraft products are sold, and it organises regular temporary exhibitions, along with leisure and cultural activities.
