This Romanic church was built by Templar Order in the 12th or the 13th century in the former Azinhoso town. It is regarded as one of the most symbolical temples in Trás-os-Montes region. Legend has it D. Nuno Álvares Pereira (the Constable) prayed here at the feet of Our Lady Nossa Senhora da Natividade. The three-window steeple centrally set in the building, as well as the main altar in rural Baroque style deserve a special attention. (National Trust Building)
