The references to this Baroque Benedict monastery date back to the end of the 11th century. This monastery was restored in the 16th and 18th centuries. Worth highlighting is the Benedict church with its symmetrical façade, bell towers on the sides, barrel vault cover and the altarpiece in gilt carved wood. The front has some interesting granitic images. The church was rebuilt in the 18th century. Also worth mentioning is the cloister area, although in ruins, comprising 9-bays galleries, Tuscany granitic columns and a decorative fountain made of stone with inscriptions, at the centre, and several flower beds.
