This museum is located inside the walls of Serpa. From this spot, one can observe pieces dating back to the Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Metal Age. The most interesting thing about this museum is the heritage found in the excavations of Cidade das Rosas (between Serpa and Vale de Vargos). These elements date back to the 1st century until the Arab period.
