Cabeço de Vide thermal stations commonly known as Sulfúrea thermal stations date back to Roman period. They stand out as an oasis in the middle of Alentejo plains. It is located in Ribeira de Vide valley, approximately 1 km southeast from the town. The thermal complex includes three floors, as well as treatment areas, reception, treatments, indoor pools, cooling zones, gym, and vestiges of the former thermal stations. These waters have been used for four thousand years. They are recommended for bone and knuckle diseases (rheumatism), respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, and rhinitis) and skin diseases.
