This convent-made sweet, rich in eggs and sugar, is one of the specialities produced for years by Bernard nuns in Odivelas Monastery. Apart from this temptation, the convent is also famous for other sweet specialities such as Odivelas marmalade, "suspiros de amêndoas" (almond-based sweets) and "esquecidos", among others.
